6-Week Junior Skills Training Classes

Adolescence Next Steps (where the fun begins!)

Support your dog through the challenges of adolescence with our six-week course. It builds on the foundations from Puppy Class or offers a fresh start for dogs new to training. We focus on developing reliable responses, calmness around distractions, and good manners in everyday situations.

With only four dogs per class, each dog receives individual attention while learning in a focused, supportive environment. Weekly sessions help improve impulse control, strengthen lead walking and recall, and support positive interactions with people and other dogs, all tailored to the unique needs of this developmental stage.

Children aged five and over are welcome, as long as an adult is present to supervise them, while you work with your dog.

Who is this course for?

Dogs aged from 6-12 months old at the point of their first class. Please email Claire if your dog is 12 months or over.

  • Support with typical teenage behaviours like overexcitement and frustration, helping you through this tricky phase with confidence

  • Activities that reinforce learning while making training enjoyable for both dogs and owners

  • A  safe, private venue with indoor and outdoor spaces for a comfortable experience

  • A welcome pack, free treat pouch, a pack of tasty treats, useful resources and a certificate upon completion

Our Training Approach

We use plenty of tasty treats and sometimes toys to make learning fun, engaging and rewarding for your dog. If you are looking for a different training style, this class may not be the right fit for you.

Each session builds on the last, helping your dog grow in confidence, reliability, and essential skills at a steady and manageable pace.

Whether this is your first dog or your tenth, our classes are designed to support all experience levels. Every dog and owner is treated as an individual, with clear step-by-step guidance and helpful resources to support your progress.

How much is the course

The course is £150 for the 6 week course.

If you are not sure if a group class is the right fit? If a class setting doesn't suit your puppy, the timing isn’t convenient, or you’d like a more personalised experience for the whole family, get in touch! A one-to-one session might be a better option, tailored to your dog’s individual needs.

*Refunds are unavailable for cancellations within 7 days of the course start. Missed classes cannot be refunded or rescheduled, but if your puppy is unwell, you are welcome to attend without them to get all the guidance for that week.
