Canine Hoopers is a fun, low impact, free flowing agility style sport that is low impact on your dog's joints but high on the fun scale. The sport is accessible for dogs and owners of all ages and fitness levels as it requires distance handling rather than running with your dog.
Handlers work with their dogs to navigate a course of hoops, barrels and tunnels with the same excitement as agility without all the running! However unlike agility, the courses in Hoopers are low-impact and smooth-flowing they do not involve tight turns.
It is a great way to build confidence and have fun as a team. It is even part of the programme at Crufts now.
So, if you are looking for an enjoyable activity to share with your four-legged friend, consider giving Canine Hoopers a try!
I run small, group classes of 3 to 4 dogs to ensure that everyone gets individual attention. These last approximately 45 minutes.
I also offer 1 to 1 lessons in case the class times do not suit you or you prefer the individual attention. These last approximately 30 minutes.
We can accommodate dogs that find group situations a challenge, just let us know.
The lessons are held in a private, secure location.
